This past week we rolled out some big things for us here at S.P.I. It's been quite a while since we redesigned our site (the mechanics car kind of thing ya know) but we finally pushed a few days aside, did away with that /2010/ url structure thing and pushed out a new site.
The site itself is pretty straight forward... nothing too much out of the ordanary. It's running on Expression Engine, has your standard EE add-ons (Expresso for a basic WYSIWYG, twitter timeline, free form for the client brief form, Mailchimp powering the email list, and a HS Redirect so we can serve up some custom url forwards). Oh, and did we mention it's fully responsive? We have had the wonderful opportunity to work on a handful of projects in the last few months where the clients were open to rolling out a responsive layout. It's been a fun thing for us to learn and has certainly presented it's fair share of obsticals. But we thought what better way to demonstrate the power of a responsive design than do one for ourselves.
Alongside the new site we also rolled out some new business cards (complete with QR code trickary) and new letter head as well. Feels great to have some cohesiveness through all our collateral.
Hope you enjoy the new site.
